Novapuu: We manufacture our high-quality wood products using modern methods while respecting traditional Finnish woodworking. The finishing of our product is carefully done by hand, which means that the product's high quality and a pleasant and finished feel in the hand can be guaranteed.

Novapuu follows a clean and sustainable principle. The materials used to finish the products are vegan and clean. In our manufacturing processes, we strive to utilize all parts of the wood as well as surplus pieces created during manufacturing in our other products. We convert the small pieces that are not suitable for the production of new products into wood chips, which we use together with the wood chips generated in the manufacturing processes for the benefit of planting new tree seedlings.

In the manufacture of products suitable for storing cosmetics, we use certified pine from a PEFC-certified supplier. This certificate ensures that the forest has been sustainably managed and the origin of the wood is known. We personally selected each tree we use to make our cosmetic boxes based on its growth density. In this way, we ensure that the quality and durability of the wood meet the high quality standards we set for the products in question. Our products are manufactured in accordance with EU-defined good manufacturing practice (GMP) in facilities suitable for the production of food-grade packaging materials. We comply with occupational safety regulations and closely monitor the manufacturing process of each product.

Pine is a durable, ecological and antibacterial material. It is a renewable natural resource. The pine we use is sustainably produced (PEFC certificate).
