Veera salt soap was the first Saaren Taia salt soap. For Johanna, the founder of Saaren Taia, it has always been important that our products bring relief to her dry, itchy and atopic skin, as well as to the strong smell of sweat and pimples caused by hormonal activity. That's why the raw materials of Veera salt soap have been chosen with these skin challenges in mind.

This special batch is made in the same traditional way as five years ago – in square molds, sprinkled with sea salt and carefully wrapped in silk and cardboard webbing.

Use for the body:Wet the soap and rub on a sponge or directly on the skin. Rinse well.

Use for the face:

1. Wet your face with lukewarm water.

2. Dip the washcloth, dab some soap on it, dip the washcloth again and squeeze out the excess water, gently wipe the face all over, avoid getting the soap in the eyes.

3. Rinse with plenty of lukewarm water. Avoid warm water, as it causes the pores to expand.

4. Moisturize your face after washing with face water and moisturizer.

Tip:Use a bar of soap on the body with a gently exfoliating soap bag! When washing your face, you should sprinkle a bar of soap on an ecologically produced cotton pad and wipe your face with a gentle cotton pad.

Tip for storing bar soap:If you want to extend the life of your bar soap and keep it more hygienic, you should buy a bar of soapdomestic Novapuu soap tray! With Novapuu's antibacterial soap dish, you extend the life of your bar soap, as it can dry better between uses. This way your soap will also remain more hygienic for the next use!

The manual production and packaging of our bar soaps employs 5-9 people, preserving jobs that would have disappeared in automated lines.

Saaren Taika uses in its skin care products and eco-detergentsprimarily clean, not chemically cleaned(without chemical residues), organic and vegetable oils obtained from the first pressing using the cold pressing method.

These unprocessed oils contain all natural skin-healing vitamins, antioxidants, flavonoids and other nutrients. They give our products the promised power, because only unprocessed oil retains all skin-healing properties.

Our unprocessed raw materials do not contain any harmful residues left by chemical processing. This choice supports your health and environmental friendliness, but may shorten the shelf life of our products.

Shea butter contains special ingredients such as squalene, lanosterol and amyrins that are not often found in other vegetable oils. When shea butter is processed, the amount of certain substances it contains, such as tocopherols (types of vitamin E) and sterols (fat-soluble compounds), is reduced.

Processing affects the antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties of shea butter and its components. Unprocessed shea butter is particularly effective against fungi because it contains a combination of different antioxidants. The olein part, on the other hand, is effective against microbes thanks to the high amount of antioxidants and bioactive ingredients.

The natural ingredients of salt soap support the health and well-being of your skin

Sea salt binds moisture to your skin. Regular use of salt soap significantly reduces the need to oil the skin. Antibacterial sea salt helps to neutralize the bacteria on the skin that cause the characteristic smell of sweat. Regular use of salt soap also reduces skin problems caused by skin impurities, such as pimples.

Green clay absorbs impurities from the skin, it speeds up the healing of skin damage and soothes the skin.

Organic oats gently exfoliates the skin. It relieves inflammation and soothes skin irritations and itching.

The soap contains organic Extra-virgin olive oil, which gently cleanses the skin without removing its natural oils and leaves the skin feeling moisturized. E.g. this is why Saaren Taika soap products are so popular among people with dry skin. Extra-Virgin olive oil is the healthiest, most natural and also the most effective in skin care products, as it has preserved the most vitamins and fatty acids (antioxidants) characteristic of olives.

Organic shea butter in the soap makes it particularly moisturizing, as shea butter contains fats that do not saponify. In other words, shea butter is also shea butter in soap and it is known as one of the most moisturizing vegetable oils that also does not block skin pores. As an antioxidant-rich raw material, shea butter effectively nourishes your skin and helps prevent signs of skin aging.

Organic coconut oil makes the soap effectively clean.
