Saaren Taika Tea Tree Soap is a natural bar soap with antibacterial properties that is suitable for daily washing of both face and body. The gentle soap balances your skin's bacterial population and helps curb e.g. pimples and itching.
Antiseptic tea tree essential oil helps prevent skin inflammations and infections.
Organic coconut oil makes the soap very foamy and cleans effectively.
Organic Extra-virgin olive oil makes the soap very gentle. It cleans your skin without stripping it of its natural oils, leaving your skin feeling moisturized.
With a soap tray made by a professional carpenter, you can store your bar soap hygienically and extend its useful life.
Wood as a material speeds up the drying of bar soap, as it absorbs part of the soap's water and moisture. The wood is naturally antibacterial, which means it helps your bar of soap stay hygienic.
The soap tray has through holes, through which excess water can drain away and the bar soap can dry between uses, so your bar soap will not run out so quickly.
The soap base is made of strong and high-quality alder, which has been heat-treated in an environmentally friendly way to increase the wood's moisture resistance and provide protection from bacteria. The heat treatment emphasizes the beautiful even color of the wood and gives the alder used in the soap base a fresh scent.
The soap base is treated with pure paraffin oil, which gives the wood even more protection from moisture and helps keep it hygienic. Paraffin oil is absorbed deep into the grain of the wood, effectively repels water and prevents dirt from sticking to the surface of the soap dish.
Paraffin oil does not release color when wet or become rancid in use, like some oils pressed from plants used for surface treatment of wood. It gives the heat-treated alder a wonderful dark shade and emphasizes its enchanting grain patterns.
The carefully considered and simple design of the soap dish is suitable for both rustic and modern interiors.
OUR STORY
Developed out of genuine need for challenging skin
Our founder Johanna's decades-long struggle with skin problems led to the creation of the Saaren Taika brand.
After years of using ineffective cortisone creams, Johanna developed Chamomile Shea Butter in 2017 to control the unbearable itching of her hand rash, and soon after, Tea Tree Soap, which gained cult fame.
Today, the story of Saaren Taia is carried forward by Johanna's daughter Veera, leading Saaren Taia towards the next stage in challenging skin care and researched efficacy.
