Sulfate-free and silicone-free Curl Care shampoo and 3-in-1 conditioner are plant-based products developed especially for wavy and curly hair, but suitable for all hair types
The products contain sea buckthorn extract and soapwort extract.
Sea buckthorn improves circulation and helps essential fatty acids reach the deeper layers of the scalp. Sea buckthorn helps prevent infections and inflammations.
Soapwort gently cleanses hair of excess oil while soothing the scalp. It is a natural cleansing herbal extract that, due to its gentleness and conditioning properties, is particularly suitable for curly hair.
The products contain polysaccharides derived from chia seeds and flaxseeds, which form a flexible and durable film on the hair, thus helping the hair maintain curls for longer and more durably.
The Kerascalp contained in the products is a scalp-protecting ingredient that prevents hair follicle weakening due to aging. Kerascalp gives hair more shine and strengthens it. It balances the scalp and gives hair more vitality.
Kerascalp is a waterless active ingredient whose effectiveness is based on a traditional Ayurvedic plant (Phyllanthus emblica). It comprehensively protects the scalp, ensuring a healthier scalp and more vital hair.
The 3-in-1 Conditioner contains five oils that effectively condition and protect hair, helping hair maintain its elasticity and curl better.
Mustard oil deeply moisturizes hair. It prevents frizz, dry scalp, flaking, and hair breakage.
Camellia oil is rich in omega fatty acids. It is an excellent ingredient for keeping hair flexible and elastic. Camellia oil effectively moisturizes both the scalp and hair.
The coconut oil contained in the conditioner prevents hair from losing its proteins and helps hair stay healthier. Coconut oil is the best oil to prevent wear caused by hair treatments, the harmful UV rays of the sun, and hair coloring.
The conditioner also uses monoi oil, which has a deep moisturizing effect on the hair and scalp.
Macadamia oil absorbs deeper into the hair than any other oil. Its deeply absorbing fatty acids help the hair follicle strengthen and recover better from environmental stresses.
Macadamia oil softens and smooths the hair, making it appear shinier. It is highly recommended for curly hair, as it prevents dryness and breakage, helps hair maintain its flexibility, and restores natural hair moisture.
OUR STORY
Developed out of genuine need for challenging skin
Our founder Johanna's decades-long struggle with skin problems led to the creation of the Saaren Taika brand.
After years of using ineffective cortisone creams, Johanna developed Chamomile Shea Butter in 2017 to control the unbearable itching of her hand rash, and soon after, Tea Tree Soap, which gained cult fame.
Today, the story of Saaren Taia is carried forward by Johanna's daughter Veera, leading Saaren Taia towards the next stage in challenging skin care and researched efficacy.
