Our own product development. Our own active ingredient

At the core of Saaren Taika's bladderwrack series are combination active ingredients developed in our own laboratory. These are completely new, unique combinations in Finland that harness the power of bladderwrack for your skin in a way that has not been done before in Finland.

Our active ingredients utilize extraction methods we have developed, which allow us to efficiently capture bladderwrack's diverse nutrients and bioactive compounds.

This is the first time such an effective, scientifically substantiated skincare product has been made from Finnish bladderwrack, and it is manufactured from scratch in our own factory in Perniö.

Saaren Taika is one of the few Finnish cosmetic brands that has its own laboratory-based product development and manufacturing under one roof. We develop and manufacture the majority of our products ourselves, based on our own research and vision.

After utilizing the active ingredients, valuable, mineral-rich bladderwrack powder remains from the raw material, which we did not want to waste.
Saaren Taika's Perniö cosmetics factory operates on a zero-waste principle, where every by-product of the manufacturing process is aimed to be fully utilized in a new form.
And as a result, two completely new bar soaps were born, continuing the bladderwrack series' story ecologically and effectively.
