Saari Taika hamam towels are made from genuine Turkish cotton, which has longer fibers than regular cotton. Saaren Taika manufactures authentic Turkish hamam towels with the help of contracted manufacturers. We have personally gotten to know and met our partners.
The smaller manufacturers we use are family-run entrepreneurs who mainly employ their own family members. The towels of these manufacturers are Oeko-tex certified, and the employees enjoy good working conditions and are insured. The larger factories we cooperate with have gone through numerous inspections and have received Oeko-tex, GRS, GOTS certificates and a report on Ethical Trade auditing.
About 200-300 employees work in these factories, all of whom are insured. In the factories, female workers are especially supported and, for example, tying the ends of towels is done exclusively by female workers. All the contract manufacturers we use are committed to green change and sustainability. Some of the factories have installed solar panels to utilize solar energy.
We also manufacture products that consist of 100% cotton recycled threads.
