Puhdistamo Tripla Rauta is a strong and versatile iron product. It is based on two high-quality forms of iron: ferrous bisglycinate and ferrous fumarate. Both ferrous bisglycinate and ferrous fumarate are non-heme iron in the Fe2+ form.
The third, unique component of the product is lactoferrin. Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein that contains a small amount of iron.
Vitamin C has also been added to the product, which further increases iron absorption.
So what is iron needed for? Iron helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, and promotes the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin.
The amount of iron in the body can be measured in blood tests using hemoglobin and ferritin levels. It is therefore recommended to always have your iron levels measured before starting an iron supplement, as you should not consume too much iron.
To ensure the best absorption, Puhdistamo Tripla Rauta is best taken on an empty stomach. It is also worth avoiding consuming calcium supplements, coffee and tea at the same time, as they impair iron absorption.
The product is not suitable for people with milk allergies or vegans.
