Daily skincare routine for rosacea-prone skin

Rosacea-prone skin needs a skincare routine that is gentle yet effective. An effective daily skincare routine for rosacea consists of three steps: cleansing, moisturizing, and skin barrier-supporting skincare.

Gentle cleansing

Choose a cleansing product that does not dry or irritate your skin. Soaps containing sulfates and cleansers containing alcohol can worsen redness and irritation. Sea Buckthorn Luxury Spa soap has been dermatologically tested on rosacea-prone skin and has been found to significantly reduce redness and itching. Tea Tree Soap is a good option if your rosacea-prone skin needs antibacterial cleansing.

Adequate moisturization

Rosacea-prone skin is often dry and easily irritated, and adequate moisturization is one of the most important things for its well-being. For rosacea-prone skin, it is advisable to favor moisturizers that support the health of the skin barrier and help reduce irritation.

Skin barrier-supporting skincare

Rosacea skin doesn't just redden for one reason, but for four simultaneous reasons: the skin barrier is weakened, the skin microbiome is out of balance, capillaries are fragile and dilated, and nerve endings overreact to stimuli. These four feed each other. If you only treat one, the other three continue their work.
