Consumer customer's right of withdrawal
Cancellation notice
Cancellation is made by submitting a cancellation notice within 14 days of receiving the goods or the last batch of goods. The cancellation notice can be made using the cancellation form or in a free format, for example by email to asiakaspalvelut@saarentaika.com. If the last day of the cancellation period is a Saturday or a public holiday, the cancellation notice can also be made on the following weekday. Failure to collect the goods does not constitute cancellation of the transaction and does not replace the cancellation notice. Corporate and institutional customers do not have the right to cancel. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
According to the Consumer Protection Act, there is no right of withdrawal for goods delivered sealed, which cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons and whose seal has been broken or opened. Hygiene products include cosmetics, medicines, face masks and sexual health products. There is also no right of withdrawal for goods that have been manufactured or modified according to the buyer's requirements or clearly for personal use (for example, custom-made goods or engraved/named products). The distance selling regulations do not apply at all to individual contracts for the delivery of daily goods (food, technochemical products, household papers, daily cosmetics), and these products therefore do not have a right of withdrawal for distance sales. Room fragrance can only be returned if the sticks have not been dipped in a fragrance liquid. If you want to test the room fragrance, open its plastic protective cap and smell the bottom of the cap, which will give you an idea of the smell.
Return of goods
The goods must be left for transport by the carrier within 14 days of submitting the cancellation notice. You are responsible for the return costs. You can use the Saaren Taika shop return code (Matkahuolto return code 9531425 or Posti return code 659995), in which case we will deduct the return cost of 7.90 e from the returned purchase price.
You must keep the goods you have received essentially unchanged and undiminished, so that you have the right to a full refund of the price you paid in the event of a withdrawal. You may open or unpack the packaging without losing your right of withdrawal and to check the properties and functionality of the goods and to familiarize yourself with the goods in the same way as in a store. The packaging of the products is part of the product. You must handle and open the packaging with care so that the products can be returned in their original packaging.
If you have taken the goods into your possession, you are responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods. If the goods have substantially changed or decreased, the online store has the right to charge an amount corresponding to the decrease in the value of the goods. If the goods have become unsaleable due to use, Saaren Taika shop may completely refuse to refund the amount paid by the consumer.
Return instructions
You can use the return form or include the following information with your return: order number, name, address and telephone number. The product to be returned must be carefully packaged and ensure that the product cannot move around inside the cardboard box. You can use the same cardboard box and padding that the product was delivered in for the return. The order confirmation also contains instructions for making the return. If the product is damaged on the return journey because you have packed it carelessly, you are responsible for the damage caused. It is a good idea to request a receipt for the shipment to prove the return. Failure to collect the delivery does not constitute cancellation and does not replace submitting a cancellation notice. We charge 15 e for deliveries that are not collected. We do not accept cash on delivery.
Refund
You will be refunded the purchase price no later than 14 days after receipt of the cancellation notice. Saaren Taika shop has the right to withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or you have proven that you have sent the goods back, for example with a return receipt.
Delivery costs will be refunded in cases other than partial returns, however, the delivery fee will not be refunded to the extent that it exceeds the cost of the most affordable delivery option offered by the company.
If the remaining value of the order after the return falls below the free shipping criteria, we will charge the shipping costs for the remaining order according to our price list and the selected shipping method. We will pay the returned payments with the same payment method that the customer used.
Liability for defects and complaint management
If the product is lost or damaged in transit, does not match the order or is incorrect, the consumer customer is asked to contact us by email at asiakaspalvelu@saarentaika.com . Contacting us quickly will help resolve the matter. Corporate and institutional customers must report a defect or delay by email to asiakaspalvelu@saarentaika.com within 7 (seven) days of receiving the product. The corporate or institutional customer must also check the delivery upon arrival and note any defects on the consignment note. The online store's 14-day right of withdrawal does not restrict the consumer customer from invoking the defect after this period. If the consumer customer has received a defective or wrong product, Saaren Taika shop is liable for the defect in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. Saaren Taika shop is liable for the return costs of the defective product and other obligations under the Consumer Protection Act.
If a dispute regarding the contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board ( www.kuluttajariita.fi ). Before referring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advice Service ( www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi ).
Limitation of liability
The online store is not liable for any other indirect or direct damage related to the order, delivery or product, other than that resulting from mandatory obligations under the Consumer Protection Act or other laws.
Saaren Taika shop is not liable for damages caused by force majeure.
