Turkish cotton is considered one of the highest quality types of cotton, as its extra-long cotton fibers make the fabric feel really thin and smooth.

Turkish cotton is often used e.g. in luxury hotels because of its high quality and pleasant feel. Turkish cotton is also more durable compared to other types of cotton and that is why it is very popular in hotel textiles!

Washing Turkish cotton is slightly different from the washing instructions for traditional short-fiber cotton, and it is worth reading the washing instructions for Turkish cotton carefully.

Turkish cotton needs tender care. Preferably wash with a gentle washing program and a mild detergent.

Do not use conventional detergents! Use laundry vinegar for rinsing instead, and use it sparingly. Avoid soap-based detergents, as soap will make any cotton hard and rough.
